Maria's Story
I left San Antonio, TX ; shortly after I graduated from high school. I got married and had 2 children, a boy and a girl. I have gone on to college and gotten my degree, and worked in an office for 40 yrs. I am now retiring. Most all of my family still lives in TX. I have been back to visit, and have visited the old high school. I protested when they wanted to change the Mascot. ...Expand for more
I still don't think it's right, and it makes me angry to think of it. Now to hear they're going to close down the high school makes even less sense. BTW, I am a transplanted Oregonian now, and have been for the past 44 yrs. I am still working, but working at home now with an online business, more flexible. I have 5 grandboys! No grand-daughters. How could they do that to me?? LOL
