Maria's Story
Life
My name is still Maria Schreiber. I attended U of I's College of Business after H.S. and earned a B.S. in Finance. My husband is Jim Post of Michigan. We met in grad school (DePaul) which I completed while working in banking. I kept up with dancing for a while, then switched to running/biking, then triathalons. I also switched out of corporate finance into marketing services and worked on national programs for Visa, Nestle, United, McDonald's and others. ng to balance it with two children. I'd planned to go back, but now have three (now 19 months). It's fabulous. So I used to drive national programs for big clients and run meetings and now I drive a minivan and go to school meetings. I started a little business on the side, the last day of my career job, so I've never actually been without work.
I'd love to read about more grads from the early 80's (ahhhh, the good old days!). I think back on how everyone had unique strengths. I hope everyone is happy!
