Marian's Story
Life
I met my husband David in 1981 and we moved to N Carolina in 1982. That is the year we married. Jennifer was born in 1983. I work at First National Bank as a RSR-Retail Services Representative...aka bank teller. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, beautiful daughter and great life and I give God all the glory.
School
Don't remeber a whole heaping lot about high school as far as the schooling part goes. Remember a whole lot about the parties. Those were some good times but can't say that I would ever want to relive them. Now that I look back at that time in my life I am reminded how God watched over me and kept me safe. College
Went to Young's Cosmetology College the fall after graduation. I only went because my father was tired of my partying all night and sleeping all day and he use to hound my about doing something with my life. I wish I would have taken him serious and went to college but I thought beauty school would be the easy way out and it was. But I hated it.
In 1999 I went to the community college and received my certificate in the travel and tourism industry but I never pursued it as a career because of the hours you have to put into it. At the time I was still raising my daughter and she was more important than a career.
