Marian's Story
In grammar school I was very shy, wore glass and let the "big shot" kids make fun of me and didn't defend myself. Now, I am quite outspoken and certainly not shy. I will tell you what I think, you don't even have to ask. I am outgoing and love to laugh and talk to people. I am almost always smiling or laughing. I do have a deep side though which only my closest friends see. I am very sensitive and always reflective. Maybe the goofy side of me is just a mask to hide my intensity.

, I graduated college in 1986 as an adult. I went to college at night for six years while I worked full time and have been on my own since I am 18. Freedom - I hate to be told what to do. One of the nuns told my parents that I was a rebel. At the time, I didn't even know what the word meant.
I didn't get married until I was 38 years old and married a man 9 years younger than me. I live in Denver, Colorado and love it although I miss the ocean. We don't have any children - only 3 cats and a dog which are like our children.
