Marian's Story
I was born in Thomasville, Ga. in 1965. I lived between Cairo and Thomasville, Ga. for most of my first years as my family had properties in that and surrounding areas.
I went to school at Ravenwood Academy in Meigs,Ga 1st-8th grade. The school is now closed, unfortunately. I want to connect with old friends.
I moved in the summer of 1979 to Columbus, Ga and lived with my Mother and attended Shaw High and graduated from there in 1983. I never really felt like I belonged anywhere because of this early move. Making new friends at 13 was difficult and I never really built too many solid or lasting relationships while living in Columbus.

n Arts. I modeled, danced in a professional company and traveled a good bit in the USA for many years while living in Columbus, Ga.
I worked in many sales and educational positions within the
Beauty Industry in several states. While employed in that field acquired my Cosmetology and Esthetician's licenses, which are still current in Ohio.
While working for Sebastian International, I met a man in California on a business trip. He happened to be from Beachwood, OH. I moved to Ohio in1994 and married him in June 1996. That's how I got to Ohio. I am happily married and I have one son, Ty Ashton, who is the light of my life and keeps me so busy.
I am anxious to recconect with old classmates and find out how they are and what their stories are, too.
