Mariana's Story
Life
I retired in 2004 after teaching 31 years. I taught speech, theatre & English. I taught in numerous school districts throughout Texas (recently at Georgetown HS north of Austin) and, overall,I really enjoyed teaching. I have fond memories of all the shows I directed, the times I coached oral interpretation/speech events & was at tournaments and the many wonderful students who became good friends through the years. th (Joe)--who is 4., and Chet Thomas--who is 2! So now I am Mimi. I was widowed in 2002 when my husband Billy died, but I reconnected with my very first love of over 40 years ago, Daniel (Dan) Meaders, Weatherford High School Class of 1966. We were married on July 23, 2004, and reside in Houston, Texas. He is a Baptist preacher/evangelist, and I am traveling with him and am preacher's wife.
