Marianne's Story
Left Salinas In January 1968 to attend the University of Southern California. Graduated from SC in July 1969, then
attended SC to get my teaching credential. Taught in various LA middle schools, then got my MA in counseling/
psychology. Became a middle school counselor, then in 1991, a high school counselor. Did that until I retired in
2009. I loved what I did, but couldn't deal with the administration any longer.

lives in Denver near my brother. Loran has two boys - Bryan and Sean; I have two wonderful great niece/nephew.
Anna is 10 and is a star softball player in Texas; Bennett is 5 and a Tazmanian "devil" - in constant movement at
all times.
Love living in LA - going to all the SC activities - football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and baseball. Worked at USC
in the Athletic Department from 2009 - 2013. That was amazing - got to know a lot of athletes and help out too.
Can not wait to see all of you at the reunion.
