I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a awesome idea. As it turns out, they were right. I love to create new ways to stimulate thought and memory for the senior adults. I am in the process in my off time to create a program to help those with Alzheimer and Dementia. I have found that people though losing memory can and will perform normal daily duties with the right trigger. I have been pretty successful so far with the ones I have tried this on. In one case the lady became totally independent. I worked myself right out of a job and was totally thrilled my idea worked. She by the way didn't mind at all being my Guinea pig. I love that she still calls me her angel. That is a feeling that all the money in the world can't buy you. After all "Someday there go I" is the saying. I think people really should prepare for the day when that stroke, etc. pops up when you least expect it and beieve me it does happen to young healthy people.
