Maribel's Story
Life
Well since leaving Snyder H.S. in '96, I moved to North Bergen, NJ with Luis aka Danny, my high school sweetheart. We moved back & forth from North Bergen to Jersey City, NJ for almost 2yrs before finally moving out of state in 1998 ...
On Jan. 9, 1997 our son Luis Daniel Jr was born in Jersey City, NJ ...
Then on Oct. 24, 1999 our daughter Noelanee Marie was born in New Bedford, Mass ...
On Sept. 13, 2006 after 12 yrs together Danny & I got married by a Justice of the Peace, we have yet to make it official in a church ... lol ... but we will eventually ... So this year we'll be celebrating 14 total yrs together on 8/16/08 & our 2nd wedding anniversary on 9/13/08.
Our kids; Luis, Jr - is now 11 yrs old & our little girl Noelanee, she's now 8 yrs old ... They are both great kids. Our son is a carbon copy of his dad & our daughter is a perfect mini-me ... lol ... rite down to the attitude ... lol ...
We moved to New Bedford, Mass about 10 yrs ago. It's alot more laid back & quiet to live & raise children ... I miss Jersey but I dont regret our decision to move. We go back every now & then to visit family & friends.
I still look pretty much the same, except my hair is now black w/reddish highlights ... lol ... I've grown up alot, but in many good ways I've re...Expand for more

School
I actually wish that I could do high school all over again & graduate with all my friends ... I don't regret the fun times that I had with all my friends, I wouldn't want to redo any of my memories over, fun or not b/c I cherish those memories; well maybe a few things I would do over ... lol ... But I would have studied more, applied myself a whole lot more & not cut class as much as I did ... lol ... I did eventually get my GED & I've been lucky to have had some really great jobs but I really wish that I had done things differently as far as my education is concerned & gone to college. I'm trying really hard to make my kids understand even though their still young that a good education is very important so that they don't do the same mistakes that I did & then have the same regrets that I have. =0)
Workplace
I've had several jobs since leaving school. I've basically been trying to find what I'm good at ... I was a Retention Specialist for Comcast Cable in Mass for 3 1/2yrs but then I decided to make a career change & left Comcast in July 2006. I've since become a Med. Certified Nurses Assistant (M.C.N.A). I love my new career/job. I've honestly finally found a career that I love & can see myself doing for a really long time. =)
