Marie's Story
Life since high school, got married to Larry, on August 1, 1969. I have 2 children, a boy, and a girl, and 2 beautiful grandchildren, also a grandson and granddaughter. Became a paramedic-fire fighter, enjoyed my work. But then my husband had a stroke at the age of 46, and then our lives changed. That is why I always say hope and prayers will get you through. Now all of my training is coming in handy, because I take care of my husband and anyone else that needs my help. We have all got to remember life is to short, and things can change in the blink of an eye. I like to read about people and their life experiences. Some people say I am crazy cause being a paramedic you listen to everyones problem. Being a bartender is the same kind of business. True one helps save your life, and the other takes your life. But you think about all the lives you have saved, maybe it out ways the bad thoughts. We worked hard to graduate and tried to make a good life for ourselves but life changes every morning we get out of bed. Always expect the unexpected.Each day now with the economy the way it is, we need to unite and look out for someone you know that is having a hard time making ends meet. Just talking about your problems or their problems helps. Communicate!!!!!!!
I don't only want to talk about myself or my family. Because I have an extended family all the people I attended school with. Now that Classmates.com has brought each and every one of us together, I feel now our Families are complete. We have lots more to share. At school it was imageing what life was like, now we live each day instead of imageing it. We made our choices and we now some times regret some of the mistakes. But life goes on. The teachers always told us to think twice about answering questions. Now we try to think twice about our decisions now.
