Marie's Story
Believe it or not, Marty and I have been married for 36 and 1/2 years. I guess we're a dying breed. He works for Chevron, across the river and I'm a secretary here in Slidell. We've had our ups and downs, mainly ups and have had and still have a good life. We have 2 children, Jen-36 and Don-29. I have a middle aged daughter, how did that happen? sey-11 and Kaitlin-9. She lives in Mobile, AL where she is a dental assistant. Don is actually, Donald Martin, II, after Marty and is a credit analyst in Minneapolis. He's not married yet, but has a girlfriend.
I also want to add that I am a member of the Secular Franciscans, active in my church, Our Lady of Lourdes and am a member of the Slidell Women's Civic Club. I guess since my children have grown up, I felt like giving back.
