Marie's Story
Suzie and I met my first year in college. We lived in the same dorm and just seemed to click. She lives in St. Charles MO, and thank God for the Internet. We email each other, IM. We some times chat for a couple of minutes to quickly catch up or for an hour or more.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. Especially when I realized I would have to spend all day in a class room with kids. I rethought that career choice quickly.

with co-workers. Anyway, when I get home the first thing I usually do is take off the shoes put on the sleepers and then get creative. I sew, do cross stitch, work on a quilt. Anything like that is very relaxing.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a large sewing room. My dream home would be an old Victorian farmhouse..
I don't have children of my own; but I do have 3 great nephews. The one I learned from them is to always keep a little bit of a child in yourself. There are times to be serious and times to be just a little crazy. It's the little crazy times that they seem to remember the most, and so do I.
My current age is 49. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be near dead. I was so completely wroing.
