Marie's Story
When we graduated in June 1970, I had been married for 2 weeks. That lasted for a little over a year.. In the mid 70's I met a Tennessean and in 1979, we got married. That lasted for 15 years. I have 3 sons, no grandkids. I live in a small rural town of 4000. The county population is so small that there are no chain stores and I have to travel to the next county to just to go to a Wal-Mart! like the announcement of spring and it's fun to go with friends, take a lawn chair, and sit outside and watch a double feature! For the last 10 years I have been working as an administrative assistant for a treatment center, just 15 minutes from home and don't plan on retiring any time soon. In 1992, I went back to Richmond to care for my dying mother and walked around the old school- lots of changes and lots of great memories. I would love to hear from former Classmates and maybe someday make it to a reunion.
