Marie's Story
Life
Been gay most of my life which shouldn't surprise those who really knew me. I live with my partner in a brand new home with our 3 dogs in a burb of Indy. We have a Yorkie, a Corgi and an Italian Greyhound. I have 2 nephews that I adore ages 12 and 9 and we spend our time going to all their ball games so I can take pictures. Spent this past year fighting cancer but I seem to be doing okay right now. Been at the same job for the last 8 years and love it. It's like a big family there and my brother works there as well. Just trying to live my life just like everyone else.

Quite frankly, I would never want to go back to high school. That torture was enough the first time around. Ended up at 3 high schools in 4 years.
College
Graduated from Ball State in 1990 with a degree in Social Work and Psychology. Worked with the elderly for a number of years before changing careers. Was in the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society.
Workplace
Work for Hat World right now and have for the last 8 years. Started with them when they are small and we are well over 800 stores now. I am a warehouse manager. Love what I do and the people who work there.
