Marie's Story
My husband and I were married soon after graduation: Sept 8, 1983. We had 6 children. My husband and I attended college while having children. He got a Mechanical Engineering degree at UNM. I decided that I didn't have the energy to do both school and motherhood, well, at the same time. We live in the Dallas TX. area. My oldest son, is married, and has 4 boys. My second son, died in a boating accident at the age of 20 just as he was going to enter his Senior year in college. My daugh...Expand for more
ter graduated with honors from the University of Dallas. My two other boys just graduated from home school high school. I am home schooling my last child who is 11 years old, now.
I put on the Easter Egg Hunt every year at our Mater Dei Catholic Church nearby. I also volunteered making floral arrangements for the altars for 5 years. I taught Pre K-4 for two years at a hybrid school. That was so fun. I would love to know when the next reunion is, to reconnect with former classmates.
