If you told me in high school that I would have a job where I stand up in front of people and pitch creative campaigns, I never would have believed you. Yet that's what I do as the assistant creative director in a marketing department at Penn State. ressman Bud Shuster and I compled my master's degree at the University of Maryland. DC was exciting but we missed home so Rob took on opening a new District office for the Congressman so we could move back. He stayed with the federal job for 11 years, but he moved on to become the director of grants and foundations at Saint Francis University a couple of years ago. The fact that both of us work at a university leads to a little healthy rivalry. He said that Penn State may have Joe Paterno on its team, but Saint Francis has God. We don't have any kids but we adopted five cats. Between that and my niece and nephew we keep busy.
