Marie's Story
Marie (Pennacchia) Sorbera is from the Pelham Bay/Country Club section of the Bronx. She is currently living in Westchester County (Town of Lewisboro) with her husband of 42 years. Marie is currently retired having worked as a teacher in NYC and then had a 20 year corporate career at a Fortune Fifty Company. Her husband is a cardiac electrophyisiologist at Columbia University Hospital Center, In retirement, we will be living in the Hamptons and enjoy a simpler life in the company of family and long time forever friends. Was looking forward to attending the 50th Alumni Reunion at STS and hoped to have seen many classmates who graduated from Sr. Catherine Regina and Sr. John Williams classes of 1965.. Unfortunately the unprecedented Covid virus changed everything for everyone and our 50th reunion for the STS Class of 1965 never happened. Although the Class of 1966 was gracious enough to combine these two class reunions, the word got out too late. It would be wonderful if email addresses could be collected as the best way to make contact with the alumni going all the way back to the first graduating class of 1958.
