Marie's Story
Life revised.
Sinced growing up in Starkville, I have expanded my horizons immensely.
My husband Bob and I have lived in Santa Barbara, California for the past 30 plus years. Bob is a semi-retired CPA and still has a small CPA business keeping him busy part of the year. I retired in 2006.
Bob and I have traveled to Europe, Mexico, Central America, Jaimaica, Cruised Alaska,Tahiti and the Caribbean, Western Mediterranean and traveled to the different States in the U.S. In August 2004, we took a trip to Kenya and Tanzania. We took our 12 year old grandson with us who is now 20 and serving in the Marines training in Radio Communications and is stationed at Cherry Point North Carolina. ay safari. Met the Masaii Tribe and visited one of their villages and ate some native food. Saw many wonderful animals sitting right next to our vehicle. We also took a hot air balloon ride. This year 2012 we have booked a 12 day trip to the Baltics on Holland America.
Our grandson Justin then 17 graduated in June (2009) from St. Bonaventure High School, attended one semester at Moorpark College, then joined the Marines. Our granddaughter Miranda (17) is attending St. Bonaventure High School and will graduate in May of 2013. They live in Camarillo, CA about an hour away so we see them periodically.
We have our little Maltese Charley who is a delight and a nice addition to our family. Bob and I keep involved and still enjoy our dance club and walk every day.
