Marie's Story
Hi everyone,
My story -- I got married right after our graduation in August of 1978. We have been married now for 30 years and have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have one grandson who is the most precious thing in the world. (Those of you that are already grandparents know what I'm talking about, and the rest will when the time is right) I went back to college about 10 years ago and graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts and got my Preliminary Teaching Credential a year later. subbing better than working full time. Not that I ever really tried to work full time but just completing the student teaching requirement was enough of challenge to realize that I like my days off. I'm not organized enough to work full time and do the things I enjoy doing with my family. I substituted for a couple of years here in Tulare k-12. Now I am a fulltime babysitter for my daughter and lovin every minute of it. I look forward to having a few more grandchildren and keeping in touch with old friends.
