Marie's Story
There have been so many changes in my life in the last several years. Some good and some bad, but things do have a tendency to work out. The most important change was finding the man of my dreams. So it took me 48 years to find him. John was worth the wait!
John and I were married in September 2007 and are very happily living in Aylett, Virginia on 15 acres of land. It's a beautiful spot and very peaceful. We both brought many cats to our union and have a total of eight with a couple of extra foster cats.
My Mom and a few siblings still live in Vermont, while other siblings live in North Carolina, New Mexico and Montana.

dorable, and a new grandson. We enjoy spoiling them. John has two grown children who have been wonderful.
We've recently added a new addition to our family, a rescued horse named Dancer! He was purchased at auction by a kill broker, who sends horses to slaughter for European tables. A rescue group went in and took videos of Dancer and other horses in hopes of someone purchasing or fostering them for a rescue group so that they could be given a new chance at life. We ended up fostering Dancer for Forever Morgans, but have recently adopted him.
We enjoy going dancing once or twice a month with friends.
We can't wait to see my old classmates at the reunion!
