Marie's Story
OK, time to update.
Tom and I, divorced now for nearly 5 years, are getting along better than ever. Of course that means long commutes between my place in Sussex County, Jersey and his near Myrtle Beach. We just returned from a winter getaway vacation in the Bahamas only to return to more snow in Jersey.
Our daughter is now married and living in PA. Still no grandchildren, but now up to 24 grand neices and nephews, so that's OK. I've had two foster children so far - a 13-year-old and a 5-year-old. At the moment, my only children living here are Gracie, my rescue dog, and Gabby, my rescue cat. Oh, forgot to mention, I decided to retire from teaching this past year, so now I have more time for all the other children in my life. I am having so much fun these days!

th is very dominant in my life and continues to lead me in many positive directions.; not the least of these which has been the restoring of my relationship with Tom. I have been to Brazil with a team on a prayer ministry and have seen hundreds of miraculous healings just thru faith and prayer. That is certainly a major faith builder! My home church is also very involved in the healing ministry. I volunteer at the county hospital praying with patients, and work with a local ministry in the county park feeding the hungry. Having survived breast cancer, I feel that every day is a blessing, and I enjoy life more than ever. My past few years have been a testimony to the scriptures...."Delight yourself in the ways of the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart".
