re good friends to this day. I married Robert Bright, a 1974 alumnus, October 16,
2016. Two days after the wedding, we drove up the coastline of California, Oregon & Washington, to our home in Tacoma. Bob had been living up here for several years, & he works as a civilian for the Army at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. I retired from working at San Diego Unified School District in 2011. I was a clerk typist, timekeeper, office assistant, receptionist for 14 years in the Special Education Programs Division. Washington state is very different from California! It’s green & beautiful, & we experience all four seasons. We have had snow the past 2 Christmases!! This may sound goofy, but I made snowballs & they’re saved in our freezer. I’m into saving memories whenever possible.
