Marilyn's Story
I recently moved from Gibraltar, Michigan to Chicago, Illinois. I'm now staying with my only son, Nick and his family. I have 2 wonderful grandkids. Henry was 5 in March and Clementine was 3 in June. I'll soon be moving into my own place here as soon as my house in Mi. sells. I babysit for my grandkids everyday during the week. It's so enjoyable being with them as I hardly ever saw them before I moved. My passion is travel. I love the Carribean,. Aruba, Bahamas, Jamaica and out west. California, Puerto Rico and Arizona are my favorites. There's so much to do here with the museums, shopping, Shedd's aquarium, Navy Pier and more.
After graduation, I had various jobs startting at 17 and ending just recently. My last few jobs were part-...Expand for more
time. I married only once to David Wolanin in Feb. of 73'. David graduated in Jan. of 63'. We divorced after a few yrs. My son, Nick, was born in 1979 and is the joy of my life. I'm still close friends with Sharon, Susie and Sally Malkes, all from MHS. I have many friends on Facebook which I love to keep in touch with. My brother Ed and his wife, Bonnie (Castle) live up in Northern MI. near Traverse City. I visit there occasionally. It's beautiful country.
I love to travel, and I love music. Top 40, alternative, Rock and Roll, Rolling Stones, and a lot of the new stuff. I like drama, mystery, whodunit, comedy and thriller movies. I've also become a news junkie since the presidential election will be here soon. I'm praying about that.
