Marilyn's Story
Life
I have had a great life! I was married in 1979 to Garry Russell, who attended Basic High School in Henderson. In 1997 our marriage ended, but in 1998 I met and married my current wonderful husband, M. Kim Schenk. Believe it or not, we met on a singles site via the internet! He had five kids (and custody!) ting, that's 11 kids! (We're the Brady Bunch on steroids!) I love our family. As of now, they range in age from 26 to 4 years old, plus we have a grandson and another on the way.
We have a lovely home in Reno and a great life together. We're active in our LDS ward and I do a lot with the community. Currently I am the Executive Director for the Miss Washoe County Scholarship Program and I recently finished a 2-year tenure on the board of Disability Resources, a local non-profit.
