Marilyn's Story
After graduation, worked for Bank of America. Married Fred Baxter and moved to Oceanside, Cal where he was stationed in the Marine Corp. We had a son, named Robert. Came back to Sacramento. Divorced Fred i n 1960. Worked at Campbell Soup for 4 years. Remarried in 1961. Lived again in Clarksburg for a time.Had three sons, Vincent, Keith & Eric (twins0 After the twins were born we outgrew our house and bought a house off of Florin Elk Grove Road.)..Boys all went to Elk Grove Schools. Worked in Keyes Fibre on Gerber Road. Divorced again in 1980. Remarried in
1982 To Don Koebbe from Dearborn, Michigan. Met him in Sacramento whereIf was living. We were married for 27 years when he passed away in 2009. Fred passed away in 1987. Second husband passed away in 1992.. It has ben an adventurous life. I keep busy since I retired in 2005. Don and I moved to Camden, Michigan where I still live. and enjoy it. Also treasurer for the United Methodist Church where I attend. Camden reminds me a little of Clarksburg. Population 510. 20 miles in any direction a town to go shopping. My oldest son, Bob, lives here in Camden also. Two sons in California, one in Oklahoma. 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 3 great granddaughters. Life is good. Looking thru the 56 a d 57 year books and lots of memories. Thanks classmates for being a part of them.
My oldest son, Bob and Janette moved back here to Michigan and live in the same village I do. That was 5 years ago. We are now planning on moving back to California around the Jackson area. That's where Janette is from. We will be moving back some in January 2017. Looking forward to going back home. It will be nice to see all of you.
Update on moving back to California. That has changed and I'm not sure if we will get there or not. Any way miss all of you.
