Marilyn's Story

Life In brief: I graduated Yale in '79, and then worked for about 15 months for a couple of non-profits outside and in NYC. I then traveled through Europe, ending up in Israel in December 1980, where I fell in love with Judaism and the country, and never left. In 1984 I married my wonderful husband Avraham. n as Gila Manolson. AVraham and I have had seven kids together (about average for our neighborhood!), 4 boys and 3 girls, born from 1985 to 1997. Besides caring for my family, I lecture on Jewish topics in Israel and abroad (which gets me to the States a couple of times a year). I've also authored 3 books. Life has been very good to me and I feel very blessed.
