Marilyn's Story
Life
It's currently May of 2005, so it's time to update my 2002 stuff. I got my first Social Security check in April! Imagine that! I'm taking the money while it is still there to take! Getting that check was certainly a benchmark of my life!
My husband Ken and I are now spending two months of each winter in Mexico. Every year, we extend our stay a bit longer. I like snow, but what really beats a beach in February???
I've been in touch with classmates Thyra Morf, Peggy Rowe, Bruce Dembling, Ed O'Connor, June Williams, Richard Nolan, Maria Cilwik and Fred Sonntag.

reet near the train station has been torn down and rebuilt. If you didn't know where you were and drove through downtown Rahway, you'd still wouldn't know where you were! Are we that old and that long gone that what we remember and where we lived is almost gone?
Anyway, I am having a wonderful time at this stage of my life. I'm glad I retired early. My career was spent mostly abroad - Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. I did not have the time to just enjoy being home and staying close to family and friends. Now, travel is an option not a requirement and it's always for fun, not for work!
Other than that, we have no children, no pets, no living plants.
