Marilyn's Story
My photo is the one in the light colored dress. My dear friend, July, is with me. This photo was taken in Jamaica in 2005. college full time. My son and his wife, Elizabeth, with their two children live in Portland, OR. My Mom and a sister and her family live in Emporia. So for now this is my home. Since high school, I taught business in Oregon, sold real estate in Texas, graduated from law school in Topeka and then entered the ministry. Go figure. Recently, I have had a book accepted by a Christian publisher and that is exciting to me. I'll be on the road this Summer with Kevin selling books. Marilyn Owens Schrock
My first job was at Stanely Jewelry , where I got paid $1.25 per hour to clean the silver and sell. What I remember most about it is it was a great place to work and taught me a lot about the finer things of life. I really enjoyed the Stanley Family. .
