Marilyn's Story
Just after graduation I went to work with the CIA in Mclean. That is where I met my first husband. We moved to Arizona about 7 years later. Where I worked for Progressive Ins Co in the computer department. About two years later we moved back to Annandale Virginia. That's when I went to work for an agent of State farm Ins Company as a office manager and later became a licensed resident agent.. In 1990 my husband died suddenly at our home in Woodbridge, Va. Tom was a school teacher and I soon became a Para professional for Autistic children in Manassas, Virginia for the next 10 years.We are both retired now and are full time RV'ers in our 37 ft 5th wheel. There are 6 kids and 17 grandchildren so we travel about 5 months out of the year and winter in southern Texas near South Padra Island.Our joy is meeting new people, travel, pot luck dinners, golf, fishing,family and church. Life has been good. Hope to be at the 50th anniversary for the class of 66'.
