I immediately felt the family atmosphere. Why did you join the YMCA? Determination…I joined for health reasons. I am determined to get where I need to be. When I started, I weighed 402 pounds. I had been diagnosed with diabetes. My doctor told me I needed to change my diet and exercise. So that is what I did. How does the YMCA motivate you to lead a healthier lifestyle?
