Marilyn's Story
After high school my life kinda drifted for a while. Then I became a Computer Programmer, and bought a house in Grain Valley Mo. I worked and was a single mother of a wonderful son for 10 years before meeting my current husband. We married in 1982 and my second child my daughter was born that same year. Two years later I had my youngest son. I worked off and on for the next 14 years but in 2001 I was laid off and have never returned to work. Now I mostly take care of my house, and my grandchildren. My oldest son has two beautiful children and two beautiful step-children. So I have 4 wonderful ...Expand for more
grandchildren. My daughter graduated from Emporia with a Masters degree and is married to a great guy they live in Olathe.. My youngest boy is currently living at home but just joined the Navy so will be leaving soon :( I'm very proud of him. So my life is really all about my kids these days. My husband and I like to go on trips but money is often too tight. (Remember the colleges and the wedding?) Anyway, I am fat, sassy and for the most part happy (I worry too much) and live east of KC where I have been for the last 30 years. Anyone wanting to contact me can write to marrtodd at att dot net.
