Marilyn's Story
Life
Today is February 24, 2006 and it is amazing that it has been 37+ years since we graduated from San Marcos.
I married Roger Hill (Rogene Hill Smith's brother) in 1969 and we have three sons and a daughter. Three are married and we have 8 grandchildren, all under 9 years old! Roger is still teaching at Santa Barbara Christian School (since 1974) and for the past five years I have been working at The Samarkand, a retirement community in SB. For the last two years I have been a marketing rep. for them and really enjoy the job.
Rog and I have become addicted to cruises so are always on the lookout for the next possible trip.

nty manager for a Title Company in San Luis County. They live in Paso Robles. Nate, our youngest, 25, is a Park Officer in Santa Maria and is in a band, The Deveros, which got its inspiration from the Ramones and the Beach Boys (yes!!). Life is good, God has been gracious to us and we feel blessed.
My dad died in 1973 and my mother now has Alzheimer's along with my step dad so we are dealing with many issues that are new to us and very challenging, but each day we find the strength and help to make their lives hopeful and comfortable. Learning the hard way, I made sure I took out long term care insurance just in case I may need the help later on!
Roger and I have been a part of Calvary Baptist Church for 27 years and it is much like a family to us.
