Marilyn's Story
Well lets see what I've been doing these 57 years.
1. graduated from University of Dallas 1969
2. master in Latin American history University of Tulsa
3. joined the Peace Corps. They wanted me to go to Thailand! Bad timing - lot of metal projectiles flying around that part of the world, small entry holes, large exit holes.
4. Went to Barbados in the Peace Corps instead - spent 23 months teaching Spanish
5. Married a...Expand for more
sailor, Peace Corps kicked me out.
6. Went to Spain for 4 years; then back to Edmond, husband aboard ship.
7. Spent 10 of the most miserable months of my life in Cutler Maine; divorced the Navy.
8. Back to Edmond to operate the family business until 2006 when it burned.
9. Married again, moved the business to husband's farm. Experiencing living in the country on 2 3/4 miles of dirt road.
10. Those are the high lights.
