Marilynn's Story
Life
After 51 years, I am where I want to be and not where I expected! Divorced after 27 years, I married the man of my dreams two years ago and we are now living in Texas, working, loving, and looking for new adventures together. We are both in health care, working as consultants and managers, teaching classes online, and writing too many articles and books. A blended family of five grown kids and two grandkids keeps us busy, challenges our resources, and makes us long for an empty nest on some days...

Workplace
I spent many years in the hospital scene, from bedside to AirEvac to management, and then started my own consulting firm. Working with a partner for ten years, we wrote books, traveled the country, and tried to make working environments better for nurses and leaders. I have since left the business, started my own (Intuitive Options) and work with both my husband and others as we continue to make things a bit better than we found them, whether in the hospital boardroom, or in a rental property. Who knows what is next?
