Marin's Story
First I went to Western, then I got married, then I had children. Got divorced and had more children (that's four altogether)
I moved to Eastern Washington and dropped out in 1969.
I began working again in 1982, Went back to college in 1984. Couldn't finish college, went back to work in Spokane doing Home Care in 1988.
I really worked long hours trying to earn a living in Home Care. So much for the benefits of education. I learned a lot about what happens to people when they get old and need care. Determined to never go there!

y children are all grown and I have time to go back to school. It is more difficult than I remember.
I have five grandchildren, four amost grown boys and one adorable grandaughter. My grandsons help me stay current in music and culture.
my grandaughter makes me want to remember how to create beautiful things. I have learned to knit and crochet and I love taking pictures.
All this time I have been playing the piano, mostly by ear, so I know a lot of songs. I can read music if necessary. I love to play music and sing with other people.
