Mario's Story
Life
Hi Everyone,
I don't even know where to begin. I have done so much since High School. I think my life story would be a best selling book.
Well, my life after High School has had many up's and down's. I think more than most people but I will try to keep it short for now.
I have moved away for a few years but my heart belonged in Queens and I am back here and I don't think I will ever leave, I love NYC way too much.
I almost got married once but it didn't work out and we broke off the engagement. That was about 10 years ago and since than I have been single. I never had any kids although I would love to have some one day.
I have had a few jobs since High School. I was a bookkeeper for 9 1/2 years, then I worked as an auto mechanic and than went on to working for a plumbing company and finally now I'm a Union Carpenter and I also work as a Bouncer on the weekends in Huntington Village on Long Island. I love working with my hands and I just love building something amazing that was not there before or taking something that is totally trashed out and making it beautiful again.
Over the years I have had a lot of hobbies. Some of these hobbies I still do to this day. The one that I love most is racing classic cars. I still have my 1968 Mustang that I have owned since 1986. I've done custom paint jobs on cars and bikes. I have owned motorcycles that range from off-road dirt bikes to Harley's. I still own my 1979 Yamaha YZ-250. I'm also into R/C Planes helicopters and Cars.
I have also done some really amazing things as well. I was a Professional Wrestler for a little while but the business of Professional Wrestling is really messed up. I have gotten hurt really bad quite a few times and I never got ...Expand for more
any recognition for it or any respect for taking some serious beatings. Finally I realized it wasn't worth getting crippled over something that I wasn't getting paid for or wasn't getting any respect for. Besides, getting the crap beat out of me just to make someone else a whole lotta money wasn't my cup of tea.
I also came up with an invention that was stolen by a family member and they have made millions off of it and I never saw a penny yet. I invented a synthetic skin called INK IT. It was designed for beginning tattoo artists to practice on instead of scaring their friends and family while they practice on them. I learned an important lession here. Never trust anyone with any idea that will make a lot of money. The greed for money will even turn family members against you.
Everyone says that I am too nice and easygoing. They also tell me that I need to grow up but I can't help if I'm a kid at heart. Even though I'm 38 I tell people that I'm still feel like I'm 18 years old. I've also had people tell me that I don't look nowhere near 38 years old and some people say that I have never changed and that I look the same as I did when I was 18 years old except that I'm a little more heavier, well... OK, so I could lose about 40-50 pounds, LOL.
I guess I have said enough for now, I gotta stop myself or I will babble on forever. If any of you want to chat with me or talk or even meet up anytime feel free to contact me at anytime at MAGFMC68 at aol dot com.
I think it would be really cool to see some old friends again and just chat about what everyone has been doing all these years.
Well, that's it for now. I hope to see some of you folks real soon.
Take care... Mario Grisafi
