Marion's Story

Wow, I don't really know where to start. Well, after school, I had my wonderful son, Nicholas in July 1982 and married, his dad, Paul in August 1983. I went to Brookdale for a year but missed my baby too much to continue. I got a job with a great female podiatrist in Ocean, NJ and she put me through medical assisting school. I have been a certified medical assistant since 1985. In 1987, our little family moved away from NJ and went out West to Colorado. Our family has been living here in Westminster, CO for 27 years now! In 1988, our beautiful daughter Amanda joined our family. I have worked as a CMA in 2 different fields, podiatry(for 8 years), and OB/GYN(for 11 years), going back to podiatry 11 years ago. Right now I work for a great doc, and with really great great co-workers, I really like my job. ry coach. His wife Kelly is in marketing and is a drummer in her spare time. In June 2014, Nick and Kelly welcomed their first child, my first grandson!! This grandma is totally smitten!! Little Mr Declan is just the light of my life!! My greatest joy is getting to do daycare for him on Fridays! Amanda is finishing up college, for teaching, and is a preschool teacher. She got married March 2013.Her husband Eric, is a cook in a local country club and is finishing school for restaurant management. My kids and grandson are the greatest gifts of my life, I love them very much!! I have 3 grand-doggies Meissa, Pennylane and Abbeyroad, plus a grand kitty named Duchess. Paul and I separated in January of 2013, so I have been on my own for the last 2 years. The hardest part of this was having to walk away from my home of 25 years! But I am strong and know that I will get through this and come out even stronger than before!
