Marisol's Story

Well since this accesible to the world, don't necessarily want to reveal private info. My story is thus: Graduated early, ended up on the waterfront with a group of 50 women. There were about a dozen women on the docks at the time. We were like a herd of turtles coming in to rustle change. The things I thought were important in my 20's were influenced by my political awakening as I discovered social injustice - especially in the 3rd world and how our consumption affected the environment. My thirties were spent being a mother -specifically a working mother (waterfront supercargo). Those who knew me in school will remember that I loved being in love and there have been some wonderful loves in my life. Unfortunately, I'm not one of your classmates who can say that I can sport a ring on my finger from a 20-year marriage or anything like that. ...maybe that comes from being a hinoeuma. I had a handful of mentors who showed me well-timed perspectives that enriched my life as I remember many fascinating events and things that shaped how things are now. I'm glad to have been able to travel. I've learned that thoughts are things and at any time one can chose which thought to animate.... as such it comes into being. I have a current interest in learning how to make films or at least write them. I want to work on a Hispanic geneology project to help others discover their roots, their stories and cultivate their heroes from their past. Thanks for reading. I wish you well. Email me if something strikes an interest.
