Maritza's Story
Life
I am a mother of two children now, and they are the best thing to have ever happened to me! My son will be three, and my daughter will be two this year. I am currently enrolled at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. I am a history major with a minor in pyschology. I am also taking my first steps in enrolling to law school. I have completed many of my goals here in San Antonio. I work as a volunteer at a youth center for pregnant runaway ...Expand for more
girls between the ages of 13 and 17. My boss is George Gervin, who is formly known as the Ice Man from the San Antonio Spurs. Thanks to him my volunteer work has taken me to many places here in Texas and in other states. I also mentor at a high school here and my mentorees are wonderful students who have come a long way. I have not been to the Valley in almost a year, but I'm planning a trip down there very soon. Hope to see as many of you as possible!!!
