Marjorie's Story

The picture is of myself and my two daughters...Of course I hope you get me confused with the girls on the right but at almost 67 life is going by too quickly and aging happens... Speaking of life I grabbed it with gusto...probably packing in as much as I could to fulfill the dreams I have had. I went to MSU only for a couple of years and moved to Colorado going to work in the homebuilding industry, where I have indirectly remained the rest of my life both in interior design, specification and ground up design and remodeling as of the last few years. I worked as a design trainer, corporate designer, and started my own business 32 years ago which has taken me all over the country doing houses for clients. I did finish my degree during all of this at Colorado Christian University. I have two daughters. Jamee is now 37 with two boys 6 and 4, and Nikki my oldest is 40 with four children from ages 3 to 11, two girls and two boys. Jamee is a professional photographer and Nikki is in full time Christian Ministry with her husband and family. I do not see them enough. I had several marriages that failed and now have been with my current husband for 20 years and have a step son Nathan who is soon to be 35. My husband is a real estate broker in Grand Lake, Colorado where we reside. The love of art gives me my second career and my store/stud...Expand for more
io and design studio is a handful to manage. Art gives me a breather from the demands of design and the walls are filled here with art originals and giclee pieces. Because this is a high tourist area the art does well in the summer and we unfortunately have a lull for months as we wait for the snow to melt and Trail Ridge Road to open in Rocky Mtn National Park. I specialize in pastel. My other passion has been exercise and fitness training. I still get out daily to hike and work out and running was a passion for years. I have slowed the pace on the running but it is in my blood to just keep working out. I have been blessed with a very hyperactive dog and so the two of us spend a great deal of time on the trails here...It is a wonderful place to live... I cannot believe that you are allowed so many words of testimony here...no way could I tell you that much about myself. I am blessed to have health, forgiveness, God's enduring grace and love in my life. Thru all of the mistakes of life and the times that I was overwhelmed with my own junk it led me to a deep relationship with the Lord. I take no credit for anything. Art and my work has been such a blessing too...just to be able to survive in this life is a gift. My kids turned out in spite of the things they also went thru. All is well and I look forward to the 50th class reunion.

A friend of mine showed me this photo. Her friend shared it with her of a relative who saw Bill and asked for a photo with him. Obviously Bill did not see the shirt he was wearing. Hilareous. Please share!!!!
