Marjorie Floyd:

CLASS OF 1962
Lebanon, OR

Marjorie's Story

I moved to Lebanon in 1954 and basically left after graduation except for a short period of time when I was back and lived across the street from Barb and Rich Alley. I lived in Salem, then Tacoma, WA for a couple of years then moved to California in 1967 where I have been ever since. I have worked in the accounting and tax field for 45 years, 35 years in CPA offices and currently still have a small practice of my own (control when I work to some extent). I love to travel, and do anything outdoors -- my favorite being kayaking. I am also an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was the state convention tour chairman in 2003 and 2011. I have attended all but one class reunion and that time I was in San Francisco with my son who was competing in the reg...Expand for more
ional Pitch, Hit and Run competition and won. I love the reunions, and thank those that take the time to put them together as I am aware of the time and effort it takes. Reunions are number one priority on my travel lists as I love to see everyone. The 50th has come and gone :( and I now look forward to the 55th). I am no longer working as a travel agent (too much work for too little pay) and now just travel. There is a group of us doing a river cruise in Europe in 2014 if anyone is interested let me know. It does book up quickly. I hope all of you are enjoying life to the fullest. Remember if ever in the Redding area, even passing through, give me a call and stop by. I have extra beds and am just off the I-5 freeway at the South end of Redding.
