Marjorie's Story
I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State College in 1974, with a BA in English, and Minor in Fine Art. I then worked for Literacy Volunteers of Ct., was a substitute teacher for Windham and Mansfield public schools, and worked at Eastern and UConn. I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1979, with a Masters in Art Teaching. e and elementary school students in the South Windsor (Ct.) School System for 35 years.. My husband, Brian, and I live in Tolland, Ct. My daughter graduated from Massachusetts College of Art, with a BFA in Sculpture, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a Masters in Fashion Design. She lives in Chicago where she works as an art director at an art center, and is an adjunct professor at a college in Illinois.
