Marjorie's Story
I lived in Bradford County up until four years ago. I have two wonderful children. Troy is going to be 15. AnnaMarie just turn 9. I still return to Bradford County about once a year for vacation. I come back to see some friends and my family that are still there. I moved to Iowa four years ago and I love it here. The scenery is really nice here. I don't miss the mountians of Bradford County at all. I work full time for at sub contractor for a multi-billioniare company. My father passed away in Nov. 2006 so, I was home for that. My doctor by fluke found a tumor on my left kidney that was cancerous. I had my whole left kidney removed in October of 2007. I was off work for 4 months before I was able to go back to work. I didn't have to go through chemo or radiation. Thank God for that. So, now I try to enjoy life as much as I can. I enjoy bowling and watching my favorite TV shows. I am a single mother just trying to raise my kids right. My favorite saying is "Take Care!!" I always tell the people that I love "I Luv You" because you just don't know what's gonna happen in life.
