Marjorie's Story
Life
I live in the beach area of Delaware, Ocean View, to be exact.. I am married to Dan, and we have three grown daughters. I retired from teaching public school in 2000 and came to Salisbury University to teach junior education majors. I currently teach social studies methods and observe student teachers. It's a good life!
When at the University, I lived in Smyth Hall. I think we should have dorm reunions at Homecoming since there were no sororities then, and a lot of activities were done by the dorm groups - both male and female.
Postscript:
It's now 2013, and I no longer work at SU. I continue to be involved in public schools by substituting in the Indian River district when I can. Dan and I like to visit Myrtle Beach a couple times each year, and we visit other places if the opportunity arises.

ne the biggest pleasure is my growing family. We have six grandchildren, ranging in age from 8 yrs. down to 6 mos. There are three boys and three girls. Everyone lives in DE...two families in New Castle County and one family right here with us while their mother gets her Masters' degree. They are a joy!
Within the past year I've had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends. My SHS class had a great 50th reunion last fall, and we had a wonderful time. On a daily basis, I can see several old friends, as many have relocated to SE Sussex County. I work as a hostess two nights a week at Warren's Station in Fenwick Island; it is owned by Paula Collins (SHS'63) Mumford and her husband.
Dan and I are blessed with pretty good health. Yes, we have some aches and pains, but God has been good to us - noithing very serious.
