Marjorie's Story
Married in 1967 and moved to Massachusetts, had two children, Patricia and Donna. Moved back to Md in 73 and both husband and I worked at PEPCO. Had my son Donald in 1975. Went to work for the Federal Government in 1978. Raised my kids in st Mary's county Md and they graduated from Chopticon High school in 1986, 1987, and 1993. Divorced in 2000 and relocated to Charleston, SC in 2000. My daughter went to Charleston for her job in 1995 and my grands...Expand for more
on was born in 1999. All my children and grand children relocated to Charleston by 2000 and weve called this home and I truly knew this was where I would retire -- I love it. I either "commuted" to DC for work or teleworked up until I retired in July of 2014. Really starting to enjoy this world of retirement -- it is truly a different concept -- I'm having a real hard time keeping track of what day it is -- its like a Saturday or Sunday all the time!!
