Margie's Story
Life
After graduating from x-ray school, I
ventured to the big city of Columbus,
where I worked at Riverside Hospital
and met my husband of over 27 years,
Jim. I got my BS in Education from
Ohio State. In 1997, we headed west
for El Paso, and began another
adventure as parents of two adopted
girls, now ages 18 & 19. In 2003 after I finished my MEd in Instructional Technology,...Expand for more
we headed back toward home, but not quite all the way--we are now at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO where Jim is director of the Military Police Museum, and I'm an Elementary Technology Specialist for the local school district. Now I'm working on my Admin certification and another Master's (what was I thinking?) Both our girls are now out on their own, so we're trying the new "empty nest" thing!
