Glenda's Story
Life
My name used to be Mark, but a few things have changed over the years...
The obvious things first - from 1997 to 2002 I went through a gender transition, including legally changing my name from Mark to Glenda. I'm much happier now than I ever was before.
After graduating from Skyline High in Salt Lake City, I went to the Univ. of Texas at Austin, and earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I've lived in Austin ever since, and worked in the tech business mostly writing software and games.
I met my spouse, Suellen, on the internet in 1995 and we were married in ...Expand for more
1997. We're currently having to live in two places while she is a professor in Rhode Island, at URI. I live in Austin with our pets- a bunny (Bebe), and two guinea pigs (Sugar and Oreo).
I'm the Director of Technology & Development at Aspyr Media, a company that publishes computer games. I've worked in the game business since finishing college.
I love living in Austin, and also like to get back to Utah to visit Salt Lake, and every once in a while get out my old yearbooks to look back and remember my old high school friends.
I always love to hear from anyone from my class.
