Mark's Story

Life Hi all, Well, my wife & I took an early retirement from the hectic Washington DC life style and moved back to New Mexico. We're involved now in the movie/film industry and have and are continuing to work on feature films, television shows, commercials and print advertisements made here in New Mexico. Life is much better when your pace allows you to smell the roses on a daily basis, especially with the one you chose to share your life with. That being said; take your significant other or your buddy out to see a movie made here in New Mexico. Some great feature films made here in New Mexico, which were released recently or will be in the future are: Wild Hogs, Seraphim Falls, Astronaut Farmer, Beerfest, Employee of the Month, No Country For Old Men, The Eye, First Snow, Believe In Me, The Flock, Once Upon a Time in the Hood, Comanche Moon, Fan Boys, Brokeback Mountain, Wildfire (TV Series), Transformers: The Movie and thousands more. Seeing movies and TV made in New Mexico helps New Mexico's economy! It helps keep it's businesses viable & residents employed and our tax base strong. Politically, I'm communicating to US citizens how we have and are continuing to lose our rights that were established and fought for long ago. On a daily basis, our power hungry government officials are taking away our rights as American citizens. In a "free" enterprise economy American businesses should have the right to make choice...Expand for more
s regarding the businesses they built. For the government to dictate to "free" American business owners that they cannot serve trans-fats, red meat, sugar, allow smoking or not allow smoking in a business that they the owners bought and built on their own, is not freedom! You and everyone else as potential patrons of a business can vote everyday with your wallet. You have the right to take your money elsewhere and patronize any business you want, thereby casting your vote towards a business or an entire industry. One day, our so called government of the people, for the people and by the people will take a right away that you enjoy and took for granted: a business decision you make or something tangible like sugar, red meat, white meat, the way you wear your hair or clothes, alcohol, your right to bear arms, etc., etc., etc. The next time you see our government officials eroding away our rights, you too should stand-up as a tax paying American citizen to stop this traitorous behavior. We as Americans have the responsibility to keep our country truly free. Freedom is tangible; it's not just a slogan we tout to show our patriotism. As a country we don’t produce much anymore. Our last remaining and most important export is freedom. We can’t lose freedom here, as we are the beacon for the rest of the world. Take time each month, week or day to: VOTE, WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES and ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN DO TO KEEP AMERICA FREE.
