Mark's Story
After graduating from Moon Valley, I attended Glendale CC and graduated in 1978 with an AA in Administration of Justice. I moved To the Seattle area in 1978 where I spent a year working and saving for a LDS Church mission. In 1979 I went to the Puerto Rico- San Juan Mission. In 1980, I was transferred to the Dominican Republic and finished my mission there. I returned home in 1981, and went down to BYU and worked on my BA Degree. I met Christine Callahan from Kenosha, WI in December 1981 and we were married in May 1982. We recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary this year. le 24 (Pre-Law student at BYU, served her Mission in Honduras, Belize and El Salvador), Steven 22 (Recently returned from a mission to Las Vegas), Allison 21 (Is engaged and will be running track at Idaho State), Brianna 19 and a recent high school graduate. In 1983 I joined the Seattle Police Department and have worked 25 years as a Patrol Officer. I am looking to retire in 5 years. i have stayed active in sports and church. I played 7 years in the Bacon Bowl (An annual charity football game between Seattle and Tacoma PD). I recently got my motorcycle endorsement and am looking forward to starting a new hobby this month. We now live in Bonney Lake, WA
