Mark's Story
Life
My children have been my greatest achievement to this day. My other achievements have been the completion of seven college degrees to include an MBA and two books that I have written, to include three additional books that I am currently writing on my military adventures. I served my country in the USAF and retired after several injuries which disabled from active duty in 1997. I look forward to talking with any and all the people that I grew up with and hope to see some of you on my return summer visits or if you happen to be in the Boise area!
School
High school was a turning point in my life. I lost the fear to talk to women and that part of my life turned into a dating fiasco. Life was great! Most of my friends came from Seal Beach. I continued on with college after not finishing highschool, where I completed seven college degreeÂs. They are nothing but papper to me now due to an injury I received while on active duty , but I can say I have themÂ
Military
I proudly served in the United Stated Air Force for over eight years. I started as...Expand for more
a crew chief/flight control specialist while working as a crash recovery specialist.
After 2 years, my aircraft was phased out and I cross trained under the flight wing Social Actions Office of EEO/Alcohol Investigation and counseling. My secondary duty was as a security operations specialist where I worked closely with the Office of Special Investigations. This field continued to advance my primary duty into a Mental Health Counselor with a secondary as an ER technician.
While serving my country I enjoyed long-range rifle shooting, working as a part-time police officer in the communities where I served, going to school, and volunteering as much as possible. I had the opportunity to do special assignments, in the military which I very much liked and always enjoyed the unknown of when and where your not going.
I have been all over the world and had the opportunity to see and do things that 99.99999% of the people in this world will never see or do. I was a lifer and only retired do to injuries developed while on active duty. Yes, I would do it all again!
